After kicking off the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products panel with a sizzle reel and a recap of the opening of Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland, the original California park was the subject of the first announcements of the morning.

In the spring of 2020 Disneyland will get a new daytime parade, Magic Happens. Concept art was shared for three floats featuring characters from the films Moana, Coco, and Sleeping Beauty. The parade will be led by “Mickey Mouse and his pals.”

The art has a similar aesthetic as other recent parades at Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Paris. It will feature a brand new song written for the parade performed by Todrick Hall who currently starring as Ogie in the musical Waitress on Broadway. Watch Jordan Fisher perform the song during the panel. It should inject quite a bit of energy into the park as it winds down Main Street starting next year.
