We’ve known for quite a while that a cantina-style eatery is coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge when it opens in 2019, but now Disney has shared some details of what we can expect from the new experience.

It will be called Oga’s Cantina, named after the proprietor, Oga Garra. Imagineer Scott Trowbridge confirmed that “We are developing a specialty cocktail (non-alcohol- and alcohol-based) menu that will include creatively themed custom cocktails, and proprietary beer and wine options.” Not a big deal for Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World, which already serves alcohol in the park, but this will be the first location where the general public can buy alcohol at Disneyland.

And as promised at the D23 Expo last year, former Star Tours pilot RX-24 will serve as DJ, spinning some “unique music.” I’m imagining this as a much more advanced version of Sonny Eclipse, but we’ll have to wait and see.

The new concept art shows RX-24 performing as Storm Troopers, a Jawa, and other assorted patrons, both human and alien, enjoying some beverages and the atmosphere. There won’t be any Coca-Cola or other common, terrestrial products here. It’s going to be all themed items here which I think is what we were all hoping for. I can’t wait to see what Oga is serving up.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is set to open at Disneyland in summer 2019 and late 2019 at Hollywood Studios.
