Pack your tinker toys and start booking those flights because it’s (finally) official: Toy Story Land will open on Saturday, June 30, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The announcement came this morning after months of impatient waiting—but maybe that’s just me.
The new 11-acre land will incorporate Toy Story Mania! and introduce two new attractions, Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers, as well as a new counter service dining spot called Woody’s Lunch Box.
If you’re visiting before June 30 and want to get a preview of what the new land will look like, stop by Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to scope out a detailed model of the land, including a toy-sized model of the Alien Swirling Saucer ride vehicles.
Disney announced in December that Shanghai Disneyland’s iteration of Toy Story Land will open April 26. Its land is a little different and features Rex’s Racer, an attraction also found at Paris’ Walt Disney Studios Park and Hong Kong Disneyland; Slinky Dog Spin, a simple spinner ride; and Woody’s Round-Up, where Bullseye pulls you in a wagon.
With the land officially opening on June 30, there will likely be a passholder preview and other soft open opportunities in the preceding weeks.
