The holiday season is officially upon us and that means it’s time for holiday snacks! These gingerbread funnel cake fries at Disney California Adventure nearly look good enough to justify a cross-country flight.
Here’s Disneyland’s official guide to holiday eats around the park.

At Disney World, the rebranded Epcot Festival of the Holidays began Sunday and comes with the usual bevy of kiosks and food offerings.
The Maple Bûche de Noël is 100% on my “to eat” list for our trip to the parks in December.

This decadent “holiday cronut” at Epcot’s Refreshment Port isn’t on the official festival menu but we’ll allow it!
In our final festive note today, Universal Orlando has unveiled its new holiday offerings, including lights and a Christmas tree projected onto Hogwarts Castle.
The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle, Universal Orlando's new holiday projection show, is amazing! Can't stress it enough. Pictures don't do it justice, but here are a few anyway. pic.twitter.com/YgVy0Z3Ujq

The new storyline was added to Star Tours on Friday and — surprise! — it offers a sneak peek of the planet we’ll visit when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens in 2019. Get ready for Batuu.
Get a peek at Batuu – the planet guests will travel to when #StarWars: Galaxy's Edge opens at Disney's Hollywood Studios and @Disneyland park in 2019 – now aboard Star Tours! https://t.co/ekPLLgET9Y pic.twitter.com/XiFMdnlknL

Star Tours had a very special passenger at Disneyland with Luke Skywalker himself stepped aboard. Personally I question how everyone was able to get their phones out so quickly when everything is supposed to be stowed, but maybe I’m too cynical.

Mark Hamill surprised Disneyland park guests on Star Tours! Experience #TheLastJedi update, featuring Crait, starting today at @Disneyland park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios at @WaltDisneyWorld. Over at Hollywood Studios, there’s been a lot of progress on Slinky Dog Dash. Toy Story Land, with just two new low-key attractions and one counter service eatery, has been criticized by some for not being very robust, but personally I can’t wait to get in there and check out all the details.

And at Disneyland, sales have once again been suspended for Southern California annual passes. Existing pass holders will be able to renew, but no new sales will be made.
