The latest nighttime show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Disney Movie Magic, a 10-minute projection show that brings some of Disney’s classic films and their newer counterparts to life on the face of the park’s Grauman’s Chinese Theater.
The show features bits from Disney’s live-action films including Mary Poppins, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tron: Legacy, The Jungle Book, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and is currently scheduled to run nightly through July 29. Hopefully that date will be extended to give more folks a chance to check it out.
Hollywood Studios has been taking advantage of the new sight lines that came with the removal of Mickey’s Sorcerer’s hat, once the centerpiece of the park. A number of projection shows have made their debut in the two years since the hat was dismantled.
